@rayner teo just a quick observation this test you show if you equity curve slopes up on a trending market. Which it does as I made an ea to do your test this morning on a 14% win rate it had an average profit per year of 180% so why not just turn my pc on open mt4 find a market that trends and just leave the ea running ???
Would you be able to tolerate the drawdown when it comes? If yes, then it's something you can consider.

It's done on tradestation using easylanguage. I had a programmer to help with it.

I just built an ea for free online that opens a standard lot when a close is higher or lower that the previous and closes in opposite direction I can post the code later if you like
How is the CDN AUS not a trending market? the chart pattern is same as USD JPY. One long trend in the same direction. his words say one thing, the evidence says another.

Hi Rayner, I've been struggling to get the trending test to work, I'm showing negative equity curves in AUDCAD even though my trades are similar to your spreadsheet listed. My program is making more frequent trades and oscillated on the 17th making 4 trades, and was down 10% by december. Any chance you could share your settings/tricks for ignoring price oscillations around the entries?

Please, if forex is a legitimate source for income, SHOW US THE HUGE TAX RETURNS or trading account statements, mt4 reports etc, PROOF you make positive income year after year...
Until then there's no reason to believe or follow anything stated on these trading guru instrctional channels..

You think anybody's going to show you their tax returns? Even your best friend won't... I think you're speaking out of ignorance sir.
@@FRob911 If they want to promote a trading system they would have to, and of course they won't, they make more from RUclips revenue than trading.
The fact that you think you can determine someone's intellect by a single RUclips comment reveals ignorance in my opinion, but why does it matter?
What really matters is how so many people are suckered into believing they will be a profitable trader by following some random RUclips channel... it's not going to happen, 99% will continue to lose, it's for a reason, the random movements cannot be regularly predicted safely... period..
I know people that have been losing for years, and keep feeding their family's money to the broker/banks.. years later they continue to believe they're going to crack it... it's truly sad and meanwhile people like this guy continue to make money from RUclips revenue on behalf of those who don't know better.
